On Saturday, October 19th, the Skydome celebrated its 25th anniversary with a free family fun day.

Over 100 children joined in the activities, dancing with Spider-Man, playing ice hockey with Scorch, and creating birthday crowns to wear.

Everyone had a fantastic time, and as a special treat, the general manager delivered cupcakes to all the venues for the teams to enjoy.

Elizabeth Middleton from the Skydome said, “The 25th birthday celebrations completely exceeded our

expectations, and it was wonderful that so many people came along to celebrate with us.”

The Skydome, home to Planet Ice, Odeon, Pure Gym, Samoan Joe’s, Genting Casino, and Wetherspoons, first opened in October 1999. Here’s to another 25 years of fun and excitement!
